Dr. Velvet Ritch - Veterinarian

Dr. Velvet Ritch is a recent addition to Crosby Veterinary Clinic.

Though born in Connecticut, Dr. Ritch was raised on a farm in Louisiana and determined at a very young age that she wanted to spend her life helping animals. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Biology from Western Connecticut State University in 2009 and obtained her DVM at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Her professional interests include surgery, equine/large animal medicine, and dentistry.

At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dominic, their daughter Hadley, and son Husdon. She has 3 pets, Nacho- Bassett Hound 18 mths, Koba- Husky 4 yrs, Pepperjack - lab mix 3 yrs. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and reading.
